I created a portable version of the Chimera LED Wall (see below), dividing the wall into three sections, each 4 feet wide and high. It can be set up as a wall (12' long) or in a triangle configuraion. The Rivertown Ball New Years Eve show, put on by 2ndOctave included the Portable Wall in the triangle shape, including bar height shelves on each side. One side of the wall is transluscent white, the other side clear coroplast. Also, I added a small microphone and put in a couple of VU meter programs. Hope to have better pictures and a video soon.

Just installed a custom, interactive light project, The Illuminati Device, at the Clam Bar (a private bar) in Sebastopol. Right in time for the annual Halloween Party. The device is a converted DJ controller with various faders, knobs and switches to control the various animation programs running on the internal Arduino. It is designed so that the "illuminologist" can play the light sculpture along with the music. 450 individual addressable RGB LEDs on 3 spiraling strands ascend to the top of the fiberglass dome above the band stage. You can see a video of the light show from outside the backyard bar here.

So excited to be a part of the Built By Big crew, headed by Dana Woodman, that was recently chosen to build and install a sculpture in downtown Santa Rosa! The city has about 80 old parking meters that will be welded together into a 15 feet tall tower of meters. Each meter will have LED lights in it and will respond to the people who come near the sculpture. Look for more updates in the coming months.

Dana Woodman and I just finished up the LED Wall at Chimera. A 5 meter strip of RGB LEDs is installed in a half wall with transluscent panels. The small Arduino controller allows choice of patters and speed, or cylces through the patterns automatically. We recently installed a bar in front of the wall.
