Album Mosaics by Jim Wheaton

I create mosaic images from photographs using a collection of Album Cover art. The original image is transformed into a hi-resolution image consisting of over 2500 small "tiles" from the album art.

The Webviewer allows you to use the mouse to scroll around and zoom in to details in the image. And there is a search button to allow you to find certain images contained in the larger image. I also usually add some "easter egg" images that are images of the subject matter (not album art). These images are hard to find with out a magnifying glass, but the searching feature on the Webviewer can find them for you. I use open-source software from Leaflet and AndreaMosaic to process the images.
